Rev. Dr. Clarence Brown

District Director of Connectional Ministries

Clarence has been part of the Mission Rivers District team for four years, walking alongside congregations in strategic planning, community engagement, and local church SAS transitions. He brings both a consultant’s perspective and a preacher’s willingness to show up, stepping into pulpits across the district as needed and making himself available to churches navigating change. At the heart of his work is a conviction that the district office exists to consult and support, and he wants every church to know that resource is there for them.

Clarence holds a Doctor of Ministry from Wesley Theological Seminary, where his work focused on the religious lives of young adults. His charge conference is Warwick Memorial UMC, though you’ll find him worshiping at congregations across the district.
