Lynn Manley
Administrative Assistant
Lynn has been a steady presence on staff with the Mission Rivers District (and its predecessors) for 18 years, serving as administrative assistant to the District Superintendent and as a go-to resource for pastors, church staff, officers, and members navigating the paperwork and policies of the UMC. Her days are spent answering questions, processing paperwork, improving processes, and putting out the occasional fire.
Lynn holds a BA in History with minors in Business and English and is a member at Shady Grove UMC Short Pump in Richmond.

Email is the best way to connect so I can track your request. I work remotely and visit the Yorktown office a few times a month as needed.
What brings you joy outside of work?
My family, my dog Clark and jigsaw puzzles!
What surprises people about you?
That I’m addicted to true crime podcasts….
What’s your favorite part of this work?
Church folks are loving and supportive, and that makes it a joy to work here. Where else will you hear “I’m praying for you” multiple times daily?
What else would you want folks to know about who you are and/or what you do?
I serve in leadership in PAUMCS (Professional Administrators of the United Methodist Connectional Structure), and we are working hard to provide support to the church admins and pastors across the conference. Please let me know if there are speakers or topics that would be helpful to you.
