Rev. Lindsey Baynham Freeman
District Superintendent
Lindsey has served as District Superintendent of the Mission Rivers District for one year, bringing a strategist’s eye and a pastor’s heart to the role. Grounded in the Book of Discipline’s call to missional leadership, she thinks ahead while staying present, building relationships across the district and keeping the commitment to Christ and mission at the center of every decision. Each week begins with intentional “balcony time” to take in the big picture before diving into meetings with leaders, conversations with PPR chairs, and the steady rhythm of email that keeps the district connected.
Lindsey holds a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School and is a certified Enneagram Coach. She worships at a different MRD congregation each week, staying connected to the local churches at the heart of the district’s mission.
