Clergy Gathering October 2025

Come, tend your spirit. Give yourself a morning with colleagues and let your creativity
flow! Join clergy colleagues and Arts Center Director Janice Jones for a fun hands-on
ornament making workshop.  Your invitation from Janice: “Get ready to add a splash of
color and creativity to your holiday season! In this fun and festive workshop, you’ll learn
how to use alcohol inks to create stunning, one-of-a-kind Christmas ornaments. These
vibrant inks flow and blend in magical ways, making every piece completely unique—no
two ornaments will ever be the same! Whether you’re new to alcohol inks or have
worked with them before, this class will guide you step-by-step through techniques for
layering, blending, and sealing your designs so they’ll shine on your tree (or make a
perfect handmade gift).”
No artistic experience or skill required, just a willingness to explore your own creativity
and spend time with clergy colleagues. All Mission Rivers District Clergy—actively
appointed, on leave, serving in extension settings, and retired—are invited and
